CHAPERONES/FIELD HELPERS FOR FOOTBALL GAMES AND COMPETITIONS Offering to help here will give you "a front row seat" to the band experience while serving your student and the entire program. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! UNIFORMS Includes fixing hems (no sewing) and pressing hems with an iron. This normally takes place during summer band and before performances. PIZZA FRIDAYS The boosters offer Pizza and other snack items to encourage students to stay on campus before home games. Set-up starts at 2:30pm. VIP PARKING Section off and monitor the parking lot for those individuals that purchased VIP parking to all Home Games. TREAT BOXES Includes stuffing the treat boxes and preparing them for delivery. This is one evening four times a year. MEDIC One certified individual. Provide first aid, manage health records, administer OTC medications, and coordinate special student care needs. BUS CHAPERONES Two per bus. Ensure all students are accounted for before departure and return. Manage first-aid kit, bus bag, and trip checklists. Included in meal count. HAT PLUMES Two people. Load and unload plumes from the equipment trailer. Attach and retrieve plumes from performance hats before and after performances. PODIUMS Four people. Two for the large podium (setup and removal), two for small podiums (setup and removal). PIT CREW Four people. Assist with moving instruments to and from the sideline. SOUND CREW Three people. Set up and remove the soundboard and two speaker carts, connect cords. PROP TRUCK DRIVER One person. Drive the prop truck safely and punctually to and from performances. May have one rider. WATER CREW Three people. Distribute bottled water post-performance. Prepare and load band coolers. BARRIERS Number of volunteers TBD by season needs. Set up and remove barriers as assigned. PROPS Number of volunteers TBD by season needs. Place and remove props before and after the performance. SENIOR BANNERS Non-senior parents. Hang senior banners at home games. Supplies provided.
